Pamela J. Basuk is a Board Certified Dermatologist affiliated with Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, part of the North Shore LIJ Health System. She is an active member and past President of the Suffolk Dermatology Society, and currently Secretary of the Long Island Dermatology Society. Dr. Basuk enjoys treating patients of all ages, helping with issues across the entire spectrum of skin diseases.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of SUNY Binghamton, Dr. Basuk completed her medical training at NYU Medical School followed by an internal medicine internship at the Bronx Municipal Health System. She attended Brown University for dermatology residency training, after which she was certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She continues as a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and has published articles in dermatology journals. Dr. Basuk has been quoted numerous times in newspapers regarding skin care in the news.
Dr. Basuk is a proud mother of three wonderful children, and has always had a loyal following from her dogs, Roxy and Chloe.
